Summer 2025 Maintenance/Engineering Intern

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:



  • Organize, prepare, and implement planned and emergency maintenance work activities for the department.
  • Generate and schedule maintenance work orders, track department objectives, and generate reports and analysis.
  • Assist the Plant Engineer as required and interact with the production department and maintenance team.
  • Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a higher level of safety.
  • Inventory control of parts and ordering assistance.
  • Advise or interpret information for operations and maintenance personnel and provide feedback in the form of metrics, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Exchange information with supervisors, distributors, equipment manufacturers and vendors or contractors
  • In coordination with Plant Engineer, guide maintenance personnel in planned and unplanned work activities.
  • Assign work to Maintenance Technicians and follow up to ensure that the work was completed.


The qualified candidate will be a junior or senior in the fall of 2025 with a degree focus in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental)
