The Enterprise Software Procurement Senior Manager is an individual contributor who is responsible for driving sourcing strategies as well as leading technology sourcing projects based on current portfolio and technology stack. This individual will negotiate, administer, and handle the full range of commercial contracts focusing on Software and SaaS needs. The Enterprise Software Procurement Senior Managerwill also maintain the relationships between Salesforce and strategic software suppliers through day-to-day interactions and supplier business reviews, while achieving cost-effective procurement decisions for the company.

This position is reporting into the Director of Software on the Technology Sourcing Team and is hybrid, connecting in the office 3 days per week.

Your Impact:

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners and suppliers.

• Experience presenting sophisticated information to senior leaders.

• Implement software related supplier-sourcing strategies to ensure high quality, on time delivery, and cost competitiveness.

• Understanding of business contract law, and experience with negotiating contracts for the licensing of software; both conventional and SaaS.

• Collect data and perform spend analysis, category profiling, then analyze, and report data to explain economic forecast market trends, applying mathematical models and statistical techniques for cost modeling.

• Provide category reports detailing spend and usage trends, supplier performance metrics, savings, and improvement opportunities, etc.

• Support implementation of procurement standard processes for cross-functional project teams.

• Apply RFI (Request for Information), RFP (Request for Proposal), and RFQ (Request for Quote) techniques to identify, select, and engage with suppliers to ensure competitive market advantage.

• Implement proactive procurement philosophies, strategies, policies, procedures, and systems in order to meet business requirements and cost objectives.

• Organize and support business reviews with suppliers including development, preparation and review of supplier scorecards and performance metrics

• Experience negotiating large enterprise software agreements

Position Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Computer Science plus 5-10 years software procurement experience or equivalent preferred.

• A technical education or equivalent experience, knowledge of Software, SaaS licensing and Public Cloud is a must.

• Experience using Salesforce and Coupa is desirable.

• Experience in sourcing processes (i.e., RFx development and execution) and reviewing, analyzing, drafting and negotiating contract terms with respect to major projects of medium/high complexity.

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to analyze and explain pricing models and contract terms.

• Strong understanding of legal concepts as related to contract negotiations.

• Strong business acumen.

• Excellent relationship skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, and internal business customers, and senior management.

• Thrives under pressure, has the ability to multitask and is a skilled time manager that is comfortable working with minimal direction.
