Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and developing code to deliver functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability /ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset Strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry, and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements, estimating work, defect triage, code deployment and production release activities Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work Requirements: 8+ years of Technology in application development using Java/J2EE, Unix Shell Scripting, REST APIs, Angular 2+ years of hands on experience in Angular, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform 4.x, Cloud Edition (PCE), Java 8+, Spring Boot 5+ years of experience working with RDBMS: Oracle 11g / SQL Server; Strong in DB SQL language Experience in Angular, Mule implementation including Design, Development and Implementation Experience in writing mUnit Tests Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible / Tower) Experience working in Agile development process and tools like Jira Analytical and Problem solving skills Self-motivated to learn on the job and demonstrate important skills like Communication, Teamwork, Accountability & Ownership Ability to work with global teams Ability and willingness to learn on the job Desired skills: DB Stored Procedure & Functions Mule Certification Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
