Join us for an internship experience that offers real-world project involvement within a supportive environment. At this time, we are seeking Geospatial Interns in our Miami-Dade, FL office for the summer semester (May-August) and possibly beyond. This is a full-time internship position, and you will spend between 75%-100% of your time in the field.

Geospatial Interns will work as teams of two or three verifying addresses in the Miami-Dade metro area for an E-911 project.

Work as part of a two/three -personaddress collection teamin an urban environment.

Gain real-world experience collecting addresses using a geospatial application via your cell phone

Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status
• Be physically located in SE Florida with ability to commute to Miami-Dade County
• Be studying Surveying, Engineering, Environmental Science, GIS, Construction management or related geospatial field
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Be a self- motivated studentand work well with others in a team environment
• Have exceptional multitasking and time management skills
• Must have a personal Android or ios device to use for address verification
• Work weeks will consist of 20 to 40 hours per week. Overtime may be available as well
• All applicants will have to pass background and drug screening
• Ability to use personal vehicles for work-travel within Miami-Dade County a plus. Use of personal vehicles on the job site will be reimbursed the GSA Per-Diem rate of $0.70 per mile.
