Position Summary
  • Assist with wireless access point provisioning, replacement, and troubleshooting.
  • Meet with students, faculty, and staff to troubleshoot single user wireless connectivity issues.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Transporting inventory from IT Finance -front office to storage area.
  • Taking inventory count in the storage room.
  • Simple organization of inventory in the storage room.
  • Determine AP locations onsite and update maps in Airwave.
  • Keeping wireless documentation up to date.
  • Adding on tasks to Cherwell/HELP orders.
  • UNM driving course required for operating UNM owned vehicle.
  • Other UNM training required.
  • Create change requests and attend CAB meetings under direction for outages or FYI notifications.
  • Creating incidents and service requests in Cherwell.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Valid US License
  • UNM student enrolled
