Position Summary

The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology is currently seeking an archives assistant to work in the Maxwell archives.

Duties will include:

Primarily working with documents, maps and photographs.

Inventory materials and update, create, maintain, edit Excel spreadsheets.

Applicant must:

-be fluent in Microsoft Excel as well as the Adobe Suite;

-be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during school sessions and the ability to maintain regular, punctual and predictable attendance

-have good organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy;

-have personal proficiency with online search engines;

-be able to work well independently and collaboratively;

-Additionally, Applicant should have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions;

-ability to understand, remember, and communicate information and make decisions;

-ability to concentrate on details and detect errors;

-ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks;

and -capable of analytic reasoning
