Job Description:
The NetSuite Finance Program Manager with a business process focus is responsible for the ownership, design, and optimization of financial business processes within the NetSuite ERP system. This role requires a deep understanding of both financial operations and NetSuite's capabilities to ensure that the system supports efficient, accurate, and scalable financial processes. The manager will work closely with finance, IT, and other stakeholders to drive process improvements, ensure best practices, and leverage NetSuite for optimal financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Process Ownership:
- Serve as the primary owner of financial business processes within NetSuite, ensuring they align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, leveraging NetSuite's capabilities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and control.
- Process Design and Implementation:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust financial processes within NetSuite, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and others.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map out and document financial workflows, identify bottlenecks or dependencies, and implement process enhancements.
- Manage data validations: purchase orders, vendor and customer master data, open payables and receivables.
- NetSuite Configuration and Customization:
- Configure NetSuite to support optimized financial processes, including setting up workflows, custom fields, forms, records, and user roles.
- Manage the customization of NetSuite to meet unique business requirements, ensuring that customizations are scalable and maintainable.
- Manage integrations with client's applications, including HRIS, CRM, Payroll, and Planning and Budgeting Tools.
- Change Management and Training:
- Oversee change management initiatives related to new process implementations and optimizations within NetSuite.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that finance team members understand and can effectively execute new and existing processes.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of financial processes.
- Generate and analyze reports to track process performance and identify areas for further improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure that financial processes are integrated with other business operations.
- Facilitate communication between finance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of process changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, PMP, NetSuite Administrator) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting with a strong focus on business process design and optimization.
- Proven experience with NetSuite ERP, particularly in configuring and customizing the system to support financial processes.
- Strong project management skills and experience with process mapping and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead change and drive process adoption.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions: The role may involve occasional travel for meetings, training, or conferences in Atlanta. Extended hours may be necessary during critical project phases or financial reporting periods.
Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $80- $90
