Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

To safely operate and change over a re-pelletizer and compounder to produce resin pellets while meeting all specification and quality requirements. Act as a support to other team members during roll changes and changeovers. Actively maintain a clean and organized 5S work area, and adhere to all food safety, policies, and procedures.

SCHEDULE OPTIONS

  • M-F 2nd shift (2-10pm)

  • M-F 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

COMPENSATION

  • $23.92/hour

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities

  • Promotes safety culture by positively communicating safety concerns/risks to co-workers, Leads, Supervisors, Managers, visitors, and all others in the facility

  • Immediately notifies Co-workers, Leads, and Supervisors/Management of Quality concerns/issues

  • Assure that all jobs are run according to manufacturing specs, customer specs, and SOC

  • Responsible for accurately scanning in unprocessed material and outputting labels for completed reprocessed material

  • Manage inventory of unprocessed and reprocessed materials

  • Complete re-pelletizer and compounder operator maintenance tasks such as filter, blade, and pack changes

  • Prepare all materials needed for current and upcoming orders

  • Manage film conveyance to ensure the machine is running at full capacity

  • Maintain FSSC and IMS requirements for food safety and cleanliness

  • Operate a forklift and motorized pallet jack to move product in and out of the department

  • Actively support the training of others to progress them towards being a re-pelletizing operator
