The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 197,800.00 USD - 259,612.50 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. The Amazon Account Director is critical to the design and execution of our long-term eCommerce strategy. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of profitable business growth via all Amazon platforms in North America. This individual is the primary point of contact for our Amazon business and will manage a direct and cross functional team. The ideal candidate must have previously demonstrated success delivering volume, budget, forecasting, merchandising, digital marketing, and distribution objectives at Amazon. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' CPG relevant experience. They will be fluent across supply chain, portfolio strategy, search, and media strategy. This role will have significant influence and require a high level of leadership, high-impact decision making, strategic planning and customer relationship management.

People Leader

  • Manage direct reports

Retail Partner Management

  • Continuously maximize the return on trade and marketing investments
  • Supports our eComm Innovation pipeline and engagement with Amazon's packaging and product teams
  • Develops channel strategy and guiding principles for winning at Amazon
  • Builds strong partnerships with merchant, supply, packaging, global, and product tea
  • Analyze point-of-sale, behavioral and consumer data to determine key business trends and actionable recommendations
  • Develop effective presentations that outline current market conditions, category trends, customer needs, consumer insights and our competitive advantage
  • Leads development of weekly / item level forecasts utilizing consumption, shipment, inventory, promotional and consumer insights
  • Own trade management across brands for all categories
  • Key collaborator with performance marketing partners
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 12-15 years of CPG sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Applicable experience required (Similar or same categories and ecommerce)
  • General Management mindset with proven ownership approach to business including P&L management experience
  • Strong work ethic and ability to excel in an environment with limited oversight
  • Ability to work independently to identify business needs and opportunities to grow sales
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a bias for action
  • Demonstrated ability dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and partnerships internally/externally
  • Excellent collaboration skills across functions and partners internally/externally
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally
  • Ability to both think strategically and act as a diplomatic, detail-oriented tactician
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines
  • Ability to independently assess data
  • Experience and ability to negotiate complex contracts and agreements

  • Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful, strategic business decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to provide clear and consistent direction
  • Excellent presentation skills and a colorful storyteller
  • Strong technical skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Web, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills. Solid experience in analyzing eCommerce and media metrics
  • Strong character, sense of humor, proactive approach, curiosity, and work ethic appropriate for a fast- paced, team-oriented, growth company
