Location:HealthPark Medical Center -9981 So HealthPark CircleFort Myers FL 33908 Department: Cardiac Decision Unit Work Type: Part Time Shift: Shift 3/7:00:00 PM to 7:30:00 AM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$15.64 - $18.75 / hour Healthpark Cardiac Decision Unit is seeking a CNA to work in a fast-paced unit with high patient turnover to assist in prepping for procedures. Experience in a hospital setting is a plus, but willing to train. Must have good customer service and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work 12 hour shifts and flexible schedule approximately two nights per week. A current CNA license required and a BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. SummaryProvides patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health, social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs. May have access to and transport non-controlled medications as directed. RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of a State Approved, CNA Education Program required (with at least 120 hours of academic studies and clinical training; 165 hours preferred in Acute Care). Experience: Previous CNA work experience preferred; or new graduate CNA with clinical training. Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. License: Current Florida CNA Certification; or a CNA certification active in another state which is transferrable to obtain Florida certification under reciprocity.
