Job Title: Instructional Designer

Location: Hybrid Preferred

Employment Type: Contract (Through End of 2025)

Position Overview

The Commercial Learning and Leadership Development team is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer with expertise in workshop and e-learning development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging instructional materials while incorporating visual and graphic design elements to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design:



  • Analyze learning needs and identify performance gaps.
  • Develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, and training manuals.
  • Design and implement interactive and engaging learning experiences using various multimedia elements.
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).


Visual & Graphic Design:



  • Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other visual content to support learning materials.
  • Ensure visual content aligns with branding guidelines and enhances the overall learning experience.
  • Develop layouts and designs for both digital and print materials.


Collaboration & Project Management:



  • Work closely with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and project milestones.
  • Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders regularly.


Additional Responsibilities:



  • Support the development of internal and external presentations.
  • Assist with marketing and omnichannel efforts by creating aligned visual content.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Education, or a related field, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design and visual/graphic design.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • LMS and LXP Solutions Experience


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of gamification and microlearning techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.


Contract Details:



  • Duration: Through the end of 2025.
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
