Director, Parts Sales

About the Role:

The Director of Parts Sales will lead and direct both national and regional sales efforts of the Tank Trailer Services group. This Sales leader will lead national fleet account parts selling efforts. Additionally, he/she will work with regional sales managers to segment customers and create a process to re-assign all existing and future customers the proper ship from locations while establishing standard rules and processes necessary to provide a best-in-class customer experience. This position requires a strategic leader with exceptional management skills, a strong understanding of the Tank Trailer market, a strong desire for growth and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:



  1. Fleet Account Sales:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's global facilities in alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure facilities support the company's growth and expansion initiatives.


  2. Work with Regional Sales & Materials leaders to re-evaluate the following:

    • Inventory (stocking) plan
    • Pricing methodologies
    • Business processes


  3. Establish Sales Funnel process

    • Enabling the clear tracking of opportunities with respect to business development
    • Further developing our commercial organization.


  4. Team Leadership:

    • Build and lead a high-performing sales team.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.
    • Foster a culture of respect for people, collaboration, accountability, and customer experience




Let's Talk About Your Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in Sales management, with a minimum of 7-10 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Sales operations and understands how to optimize the team's performance while creating a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans and manage costs effectively.
  • Proficiency in relationship management.
  • Willingness to travel
