SUMMARY Responsible for working with both business units and IT in defining and managing the implementation Senior Market Sales computer and Internet based applications and initiatives as well as creating new and innovative ways to improve workflow, process efficiencies, internal reporting capabilities, and the documentation of business processes. Must be able to understand and articulate business needs to those with or without an IT background. Work with others in similar roles and within a team setting to ensure data, reporting and integration needs are appropriately addressed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- IT Business Analysis: Analyze business needs and develop functional specifications and system design specifications for internal business units. Analyzes complex business needs and recommend technical solutions. Develop functional specifications, wireframes, markups and planning documents for IT Development. Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions. Reviews all designs and business unit test plans where applicable. Participate in all hardware, software and programming evaluations where applicable. Review and select an appropriate set of tools to accomplish all necessary tasks.
- IT Project Management: Plan, develop, organize, evaluate and report on the IT Development unit's function and performance. Coordinate operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds business needs. Presentations at appropriate management meetings are required and include addressing Return on Investment (ROI) of ongoing initiatives as well as future plans to be implemented. Provide accurate reporting at month-end, quarter-end and year-end business meetings including reviewing objectives, report progress, and identify needs or areas for improvement with action plans for correction. Coordinate and manage business relationships with key internal partners and significant external partners and vendors. Work with business units to specify IT priorities. Review and select an appropriate set of tools to accomplish all necessary tasks.
- Quality Assurance and Usability Testing: Work with IT Administrators and business team leaders to ensure efficient workflow in the use of the Senior Market Sales web applications. Develop solutions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of data. Work as part of a project team for system upgrades, the development of new functionality and web site implementation. Assist in testing system functionality. Prepare and deliver documentation and training on related systems. Responsible for reviewing and testing the design of the user interface and overall user experience for our web applications, including e-commerce web sites, as well as overall navigation flow and layout of specific pages. Ensure that all design elements, templates, and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints sets by development and design units. Work with marketing, operations and development staff on style and approach for all projects. Oversee production of design elements, comps, templates, and finished solutions. Participate in efforts to improve quality of the application user's experience as required.
- Leadership and General Management: Presentations at appropriate meetings to include ongoing initiatives as well as future plans to be implemented, accurate reporting, reviewing objectives, reviewing progress, identifying needs or areas for improvement and action plans for correction. Establish or oversee the development, maintenance and monitoring of desk manuals, Standard Practice Bulletins (SPBs) and Critical Success Indicators (CSIs). Work collaboratively with fellow senior staff to advance the values and mission of Senior Market Sales by participating in and attending appropriate management and administration meetings; and provide strategic, policy and operational leadership.
- Special Projects: Work collaboratively with fellow staff to advance the values and mission of Senior Market Sales by serving on relevant internal and external committees; Assists with special projects/assignments as requested by members of management.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, preferred Two (2) year minimum experience in an IT related position, required One (1) to two (2) years of Agile experience, required Two (2) or more years project management experience, required Two (2) or more years relevant experience required, preferably for a company in the insurance industry (health insurance company or brokerage) or software company with insurance or marketing-related experience, required Knowledge of Medicare or Affordable Care Act (ACA) insurance, preferred Project management software experience with Monday.com and/or Jira, preferred PERKS AND BENEFITS
