Job Description

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting Market Haul Movement Scheduler opportunity in our Guymon, OK office. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key member of the scheduling team. The Market Haul Movement Scheduler will plan, build, assist, and coordinate animal movement schedules with animal operations teams. Dispatching includes market haul trucks, drivers, and loadout crew members to move animals efficiently to plant operations.

SCHEDULE

Monday to Friday, primarily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with breaks and weekends as needed. Employees may be scheduled for on-call shifts on a rotating basis. All scheduling adjustments will be made in compliance with applicable labor laws.

PAY



  • $48,380 - $68,475


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Input necessary data into the Market Haul Delivery database, organize the output and distribute it to the appropriate personnel.
  • Establish and adjust work procedures to meet the operational needs of transportation, marketing, plant, and production.
  • Direct the daily assignment of drivers and trucks by dispatching assets according to the best combination of route and equipment usage.
  • Routinely makes critical decisions regarding efficient and effective operations of the fleet, as well as determining appropriate responses to emergency situations.
  • Assist the Market Haul Group with troubleshooting and follow-up deliveries and discrepancies in scheduled vs. actual deliveries.
  • Any other duties relating to the market haul/loadout process as assigned by management.

  • Preferred Qualifications





        • Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School or GED required; or 1+ years' experience in Transportation and/or Logistics
        • Intermediate in Microsoft Office; Word and Excel and COGNOS preferred. Needs to be analytically minded and willing to learn new computer systems.
