Description and Requirements

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the United States.

Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, is seeking a highly skilled AI Enterprise Architect specializing in Agentic AI enablement and data center solutions to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered agent systems within enterprise environments. This role focuses on developing architectures that harness agentic AI technologies to enhance automation, decision-making, and self-management capabilities in large-scale data center (LVD) infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AI, data center technologies, and distributed systems, with a passion for innovation and leadership in next-generation AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade architectures for Agentic AI systems, enabling autonomous decision-making and self-optimization capabilities.

  • Integrate AI-powered agents to manage, monitor, and optimize data center operations, including power efficiency, workload distribution, and fault detection.

  • Develop scalable frameworks to support multi-agent systems in large-scale virtualized data center environments.

  • Collaborate with field engineering teams to define requirements and deploy AI technologies that enhance infrastructure performance and resilience.

  • Design AI-driven solutions for predictive maintenance, resource allocation, and real-time anomaly detection in data centers.

  • Lead efforts to integrate Agentic AI capabilities with existing IT and OT (operational technology) systems.

  • Implement monitoring and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the performance and impact of Agentic AI systems.

  • Optimize AI workloads and agent behaviors for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in LVD environments.

  • Drive continuous improvement through iterative testing and deployment cycles.

  • Contribute to whitepapers, presentations, and conferences to position Lenovo as a leader in Agentic AI for data centers.

  • Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI and data center technologies to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

  • Develop governance frameworks for Agentic AI systems to ensure ethical, secure, and compliant operation.

  • Ensure alignment with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements in all AI implementations.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and engineering, to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Partner with key technology providers such as NVIDIA and independent software vendors to ensure seamless integration of their solutions.

  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into actionable business strategies.

  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate internal teams including sales, sales engineering and field teams on the capabilities and applications of Agentic AI in data centers.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, AI/ML, and data center technologies.

  • Proven experience designing and deploying AI systems in large-scale environments, including multi-agent systems.

  • Expertise in AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their application in agentic systems.

  • Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including virtualization, orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and resource management.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.

  • Familiarity with edge AI, distributed systems, and hybrid cloud architectures.

  • Experience with AI-enabled tools for data center management, such as NVIDIA Base Command, DGX Systems, or similar platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strategic thinking to align AI architectures with long-term business objectives.

  • Certifications in AI/ML, data center technologies, or cloud platforms.

  • Knowledge of MLOps frameworks for operationalizing AI in production environments.

  • Experience with federated learning or decentralized AI architectures.

The base salary range budgeted for this position is $170,000-$190,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
