Description and Requirements
This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the United States. As a Solution Architect at Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering transformative solutions that integrate NVIDIA's GenAI (Generative AI), LVDs (Lenovo Validated Designs), and Lenovo's AI Innovators program. Your role will focus on providing advanced technical leadership to help customers leverage the full potential of cutting-edge AI technologies. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and strategic partners to design, deploy, and optimize high-performance AI solutions that drive business success. Key Responsibilities:
Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate NVIDIA's GenAI (Generative AI) tools and frameworks, Lenovo Validated Designs (LVDs), and the Lenovo AI Innovators program to meet customer-specific AI requirements. Design and document comprehensive system architectures that optimize Lenovo hardware and NVIDIA AI solutions for scalability, performance, and business value. Work directly with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into tailored AI solutions that leverage the best of Lenovo's infrastructure and NVIDIA GenAI technologies. Provide expert advice on NVIDIA's GenAI tools (such as generative models, custom AI models, and deployment strategies) and LVDs for streamlining the deployment of validated AI systems. Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and research teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into Lenovo's offerings and that the solutions align with customer objectives. Lead technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders, providing direction and expertise in the planning, execution, and optimization of AI projects. Serve as a technical evangelist for the Lenovo AI Innovators program, helping customers and partners leverage the program's offerings for custom AI model development, solution engineering, and performance tuning. Develop, pilot, and demonstrate AI solutions leveraging Lenovo's unique AI capabilities and NVIDIA's generative models, focusing on real-world applications like business intelligence, creative AI, and autonomous systems. Guide customers through the implementation, deployment, and optimization of AI workloads on Lenovo infrastructure, ensuring efficient performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and optimization support to ensure AI models are successfully deployed and meet business goals. Develop and deliver internal and customer-facing training materials, presentations, and workshops on best practices for deploying GenAI and LVD-based solutions. Foster a culture of continuous learning, sharing insights, and driving innovation through the Lenovo AI Innovators program.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in architecting, deploying, and optimizing AI solutions in enterprise environments, with a strong focus on Generative AI and high-performance computing. Proven experience with NVIDIA GenAI tools, including but not limited to generative models, reinforcement learning, and AI deployment frameworks. Experience working with Lenovo Validated Designs (LVDs) and optimizing them for AI workloads is a significant advantage. Previous involvement in AI-driven projects or programs, particularly those involving cutting-edge AI solutions. Deep understanding of NVIDIA's GenAI technologies and frameworks, with a focus on the application of generative models, neural networks, and related AI approaches. Expertise in Lenovo's AI infrastructure solutions, including Lenovo Validated Designs (LVDs) for optimized AI workloads. Hands-on experience with cloud and on-premises AI solutions, including GPU-accelerated infrastructure, and containerization tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with major AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of AI lifecycle management, including model training, validation, deployment, and optimization. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a passion for delivering innovative solutions. Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving consensus and ensuring successful project delivery. Strategic thinking and the ability to design AI solutions aligned with business goals and customer success. Experience with NVIDIA's AI platform solutions such as DGX systems, including deployment and optimization of GenAI models. Previous involvement in the Lenovo AI Innovators program or similar AI/ML innovation programs is a plus Strong understanding of industry trends in AI and experience in integrating emerging technologies into enterprise infrastructures.

The base salary range budgeted for this position is $170,000-$190,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
