Summary:

In this role, you will provide accounting and finance support for multiple Aggregation Services Statements of Work (SOWs) operating within the Strategic Sourcing Partnerships and Programs (SSPP) organization at Vizient. You will perform accounting functions for various Aggregation Group, LLC companies to include Billing and Collections, Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow preparation and analysis, and Rebate Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and reconcile quarterly and annual financial reports utilizing appropriate accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Demonstrate familiarity with SOW provisions applicable to each company and assist with financial requests such as financial analysis, budget and forecast preparation.

  • Maintain detailed approved transaction documentation to provide an audit trail, manage a comprehensive schedule of deliverables and characteristics for all companies, prepare data for audits, including reconciliations of AP, AR, and other activities, and support the preparation of Income Tax returns, D&O renewals, annual budgets, and forecasts.

  • Oversee and manage billing processes and bank accounts, enter data into Workday, QuickBooks, and other tools for day-to-day accounting functions, and adhere to, while potentially recommending improvement to, accounting, financial, and operational policies and procedures for each company.

  • As a subject matter expert, research and explain all notable variances, provide recommendations and advice to stakeholders, identify and communicate alternatives, and offer guidance and training as needed.

  • Prepare reporting packages and presentations for Finance Committees or Boards.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable and manage collections, and perform accounts payable functions, including vendor invoicing, payments, and the AP accrual process.

  • Proactively identify accounting, financial, and compliance risks or issues, as well as opportunities for process improvements and records maintenance efficiencies.

  • Design differentiated technical communications (content focus, style, presentation) for various internal and external audiences based on an understanding of their differing levels of familiarity with technical language.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in accounting preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience working as an Accountant required.

  • CPA desired.

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with end-to-end accounting for a business, including the preparation of Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements required.

  • Experience in presenting analytical results and effectively explaining variances to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and providing actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Financial experience preferred (e.g., financial analysis, budget and forecast planning).

  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks and Sage.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams).

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent writing and interpersonal skills, coupled with a high level of organization, the ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to change.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
