PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $41.25-$50.38 hourly. The full Pay Range is $32.02-$59.76 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE:
You'll play a vital role in ensuring BECU's facilities operate seamlessly, are well-maintained, and provide a safe and welcoming environment. Your hands-on expertise and collaborative spirit will keep our physical spaces thriving while aligning with our mission to deliver exceptional member experiences. Every task you tackle contributes to the bigger picture: supporting our members and employees in spaces designed for success.

This role will require travel to support our operational neighborhood financial centers. The primary focus will be North King County, Skagit County, Snohomish County, and Whatcom County. There will be occasional times based on business need where one is required to travel to support King County, Pierce County, as well as Spokane Divisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Vendor Collaboration: Coordinate and oversee vendor services, ensuring work aligns with organizational standards and expectations.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Manage and maintain pre-scheduled maintenance activities across all sites, keeping Security informed and publishing schedules using approved communication tools.
  • Hands-On Maintenance: Perform repairs, reconditioning, and preventive maintenance to keep BECU facilities in top shape.
  • Project Support: Partner with operations teams on facility-related projects, including vendor scheduling, job costing for management approval, and seamless project execution from start to finish.
  • Facility Inspections: Conduct routine inspections and audits on a rotating schedule to ensure facilities meet operational and aesthetic standards.
  • Service Request Management: Manage and respond to internal service requests using the work-order system, maintaining a thorough understanding of the service request software.
  • Supply Coordination: Order and manage inventory for facilities-related supplies, ensuring departmental operations run smoothly.
  • After-Hours Support: Be available to address and resolve urgent facility-related issues outside of business hours.
  • Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support the success of BECU's facilities operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Facilities Engineering, Property Management, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and related drawings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with mobility to move large objects.
  • Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report in accordance with BECU's MVR evaluation.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification in Facilities Management/Engineering.
  • Experience with service request software programs.
  • Proven ability to coordinate vendor-related services and facility inspections effectively.
