Under the direct supervision of the Contracts and Grants Supervisor and guidance from the Lead Contracts and Grants Analyst, the entry-level professional, with limited experience in contracts and grants but a strong customer service orientation, analytical skills, and a motivation to learn and grow, will support the department and college by aligning their work with the department's mission objectives. In this role, they will apply professional concepts to solve problems of limited scope and complexity while initially managing routine assignments requiring minimal judgment and decision-making.
Through a structured training and development plan, they will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to take on more advanced responsibilities. Their duties will include conducting complex budget and resource analyses, such as retrieving, organizing, and validating data from campus financial systems and preparing comprehensive reports for management review. The individual will assist with the preparation and submission of proposals, with the goal of becoming fully independent in managing their own submissions over time. This position is eligible for hybrid work. The full salary range for the Contracts & Grants Analyst 1 is $27.29 per hour - $39.90 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
