The Architectural Draftsman I is primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with standards for capital project construction documents, maintaining campus maps (including visitor, facility, accessibility, utilities, pedestal and interactive), filing and retrieving record drawings and facility documents, updating campus floorplans, helping to maintain UIC's space information database, and performing site visits to verify architectural details, as well as other related work. Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications Required: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Any one or combination totaling three (3) years (36 months) from the categories below: A. college course work in an architecture curriculum may be substituted, up to a maximum of two years, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:
