Responsibilities Job Summary The Supervisor-Central Operations is responsible for overseeing shift operations in the Network Operations Center to ensure uninterrupted operations including the coordination of patient movement, hospital throughput, communication, security dispatch, and operational continuity. The role involves supervising daily activities within the Network Operations Center, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting leadership in hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, and managing Network Operations Center personnel. The Supervisor is also accountable for implementing programs, setting goals and strategies, and ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in ensuring the center's efficiency, facilitating patient flow, and upholding operational integrity across the network. Essential Functions Supervise staff and ensure appropriate staffing levels, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and coaching. Develop employees to maximize productivity, ensure quality work, and align team objectives with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of department budget. Actively support department operations, ensuring seamless workflow and achievement of organizational throughput goals. Serve as the first point of escalation for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. Plans, establishes, and maintains the department schedule. Manages daily staffing needs and maintains responsibility for any scheduling activities. Build collaborative partnerships with other department leaders, organizational stakeholders, and community members. Use data and evidence-based decision-making to enhance patient-centered care and operational excellence. Promotes an environment that supports operational excellence by leading and directing the implementation of innovative technology and operational processes. Acts as a champion for department initiatives, driving improvements in throughput and efficiency. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Master's Degree in Healthcare or Business - Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare - Required Experience Experience in the oversight of staffing, scheduling and float pools. - Preferred Leadership Experience - Preferred 2 years Experience within a healthcare related field - Required Licenses and Certifications Current Arizona licensure in related field - Required Must obtain a certification in their respective area of expertise within 1 year of hire or promotion date for magnet standards. - Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Required Experience 2 years Experience within a healthcare related field Required Licenses and Certifications Current Arizona licensure in related field Required Must obtain a certification in their respective area of expertise within 1 year of hire or promotion date for magnet standards.
