The Yuste Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University in the City of New York invites applications for an Associate Research Scientist. The incumbent will conduct research consisting of reconstructing the activity of neural circuits in the primary visual cortex of mice during behavior in order to test current hypothesis of how information is processed by the brain. The appointment will begin on October 1, 2024 and is initially for one year with the possibility of renewal contingent upon the availability of funds and satisfactory performance. PhD in Neuroscience At least 5 years of experience using calcium imaging to monitor neuronal populations. Additional experience in computational analysis of data or molecular biology will be a plus.
