The Financial Analysis Senior Manager is a key member of the Tax & Generational Planning team at Cox Family Office. This role is responsible for consolidated financial analysis of the family members and family holdings including trusts, partnerships, real estate and investment holdings. The role is also a key financial partner to the Investment function, providing holistic and strategic support and analysis to the Real Estate Team & Investment Team.
Duties and responsibilities * As a leader within the Tax and Generational Planning team; develop family trust & estate planning models, forecasts and scenario analysis incorporating investment projections, capital market assumptions and asset allocation strategies * Prepare comprehensive financial analysis related to family members liquidity and financial position, including projections, transaction analysis, and executive materials. Partner across the family office and related organizations (estate planning, M&A, tax, investment, real estate, corporate finance, etc) to identify material transactions and communicate implications to senior leaders. * Provide financial modeling, reporting & analysis to support the Real Estate Direct Investment function. Create and implement mechanisms to analyze key performance indicators including, but not limited to, Cash on Cash returns, debt to asset levels, return on invested capital, and comparisons to peers/overall market. Summarize key insights and communicate to executive leadership. * Assist in the preparation of family, executive and internal stakeholder communication materials including wealth management analysis and holistic financial reporting presentations. Utilize investment knowledge as subject matter expert to recommend related messaging at both a summary and technical level. * Perform ad hoc financial modeling and ad hoc analysis - Conceptualize and prepare financial analysis, identify insights and present analyses to senior leadership. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field * 3+ years' experience in management or leadership role * Understanding of direct real estate financial and investment concepts, key performance indicators and real estate investment reporting and monitoring * Understanding of financial and investment concepts and levers impacting wealth planning (Asset Allocation, Investment Metrics). * Working knowledge of tax issues in gift, estate, and trust tax planning. Experience working with family offices, ultra-high-net worth- clients is a plus. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Experience with Addepar a plus. * Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. * Exemplary communication and consultative skill with the ability to present and consult with all levels throughout financial and executive leadership. Preferred * Bachelor's degree in related discipline (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc). USD 108,800.00 - 181,400.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $108,800.00 - $181,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
