We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team of experts, playing a key role in attracting and selecting top-tier talent across the United States. This position will be based in Portsmouth, NH and requires a commutable location. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to drive effective recruitment strategies and provide expert guidance throughout the hiring process.

Novocure embraces a flexible work policy known as NovoFlex, where employees are encouraged to work an average of three days a week in the office over the course of a year. This flexible arrangement allows employees to determine which in-office days and times work best for them, thus fostering strong working relationships while maintaining the ability to move quickly and meet business needs.

This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • End-to-End Recruiting: Proactively recruiting talent to meet business needs, taking full ownership of sourcing, interviewing, and supporting hiring decisions.
  • Strategic Guidance: Act as an expert advisor to hiring managers at all levels, including C-suite, on best practices for talent acquisition, ensuring an efficient and fair selection process.
  • Interview & Assessment Support: Drive the implementation of structured interview techniques and assessments to support objective candidate selection.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships and collaborate with hiring managers across departments to understand talent needs, providing insights into the talent market and selection strategies.
  • Global Recruitment Efforts: Primarily focused in the United States, but may also support international recruitment initiatives as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve the recruiting process, including tools, systems (such as applicant tracking), and strategies to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Talent Sourcing Innovation: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies, leveraging both traditional and non-traditional methods, including diversity-focused initiatives.
  • Training & Development: Lead interview skills training and other hiring manager education initiatives to ensure effective selection processes.
  • Employer Branding: Represent Novocure's values and culture to candidates, crafting compelling narratives about the company's mission and opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in recruiting strategies, sourcing methods, and employer branding to ensure Novocure attracts top-tier talent.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion diversity initiatives and ensure an inclusive recruitment process.



Qualifications/Knowledge:



  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a corporate, in-house recruiting or an RPO environment.
  • Experience in pharma, medical devices, med tech, or healthcare industries is preferred but not essential
  • Sourcing & Candidate Management: Exceptional skills in sourcing and managing candidates across various channels. Proven ability to assess candidate qualifications and fit for complex roles.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to manage demanding stakeholders, particularly at senior leadership levels, with a demonstrated history of influencing and partnering with decision-makers to drive hiring outcomes.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent communicator with the gravitas to engage with senior leaders and influence decision-making. High emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • HR & Legal Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks related to hiring and employment.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiar with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with the ability to drive improvements in technology and systems utilization.
  • Global Perspective: Experience supporting global talent acquisition strategies and working across regions.
