Position: Payroll Tax Analyst
Location: Peachtree Corners, GA (100% onsite)
Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and resolve payroll tax notices promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with state tax agencies.
  • Reconcile payroll system data with tax systems quarterly.
  • Prepare and file quarterly, annual, and amended tax returns.
  • Manage multi-state and local payroll tax registrations and compliance.
  • Ensure accurate payroll tax data for new hires and system updates.
  • Generate and file W2 corrections as needed.
  • Stay updated on evolving payroll tax regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll tax experience.
  • Familiarity with ADP and handling multi-state payroll tax processes.
  • Strong knowledge of unemployment rules at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including managing spreadsheets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Background in staffing, recruiting, or healthcare industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (work experience considered).
