SUMMARY Manufacturing and Operations support to engineers, which are developing, improving, and launching projects for the business. KEY RESULT AREAS
- Engineering assistance and support for the production team
- Participate and get exposure to day to day downtime occurrences which require engineering support.
- Learn and understand interactions with maintenance group on PM and work order systems.
- Assist in development and designed engineering solutions to improve productivity and uptime.
- Safe Work Environment
- Take part in events associated with work place safety, as related to engineering.
- Engage in reviews of new and existing equipment and how they meet all safety requirements including lifting devices, interlocks, LOTO protocol, and safe programming.
- Maintenance Support
- Assist in engineers with repairs, upgrades, contract work, exposure to design and standards/procedures for production maintenance.
- Participation in projects either internal or externally sourced to facilitate equipment moves, integration.
- Get familiar with contractor installations, specifically equipment installs.
- Support to New Product launches as it pertains to production.
- Manufacturing engineering support for product launches through coordination with program managers, advanced engineers, and other quality engineers, on effectively introducing new product.
- Learn APQP tasks associated with operations.
- Indirect team member for problem solving projects
- Assist engineers in design, controls, quality, and welding to facilitate projects which improve operations, technology, process improvement, etc.
EDUCATION
- Degree or currently pursuing a degree with an engineering focus (mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred).
EXPERIENCE
- None required. Degree plans within manufacturing, industry, design, or other engineering aspects.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Some kneeling or reaching may be required.
- Schedule: Standard business hours, with occasional after-hours or weekend work for maintenance or emergency response.
Pay Rate: $23/Hr. Pay ranges are determined by role and level, and within the range individual pay is determined by additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this job posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include benefits.
