About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director, Transformation Management to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with program management experience who are looking to contribute to the strategic growth of the company creating new and refined business processes delivering measurable results.

The Director, Transformation Management position will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, and for the integration planning and execution of acquisitions. This is a key role in driving the company's strategic priorities including commercial and operational business process improvements.

Location: Manchester, CT preferred; commuting distance to other Pursuit sites considered

This role will primarily be in-person and will travel about 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports various business teams and individuals in identification, evaluation, and execution of business transformation opportunities; monitors progress and addresses barriers in achieving key milestones with teams
  • Develops simple and effective justification for each transformation initiative to prioritize and effectively resource
  • Sets and maintains the operating rhythm for transformation activities including reviews and follow up on critical initiative actions
  • Works closely with individuals and teams to drive projects to completion, establishing predictable time to value
  • Prepares and presents detailed reports and presentations to senior leaders; ensures that key stakeholders are kept informed and aligned throughout the transformation process
  • Partners with other internal teams, including human resources, finance, legal, sales, and operations, ensuring process improvement implementation and compliance.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring high-quality, timely work and professional development; takes an active role in developing and maintaining a high-performing transformation office; delivers training of new processes as necessary to ensure smooth adoption
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business
  • 7 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience
  • Certified Project Management designation
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing growth and cost reduction projects
  • Experience working with senior leadership and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Experience driving and implementing business transformation programs
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software, Excel, MS office etc.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes and performance indicators from inquiry to cash.
  • Expertise in preparing presentations and strategic reports for senior leadership (PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities, value creation, and managing abnormalities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams (sales, finance, legal, operations) and external consultants
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
  • A results-oriented, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment
