Location: Olive Branch, MS

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Specialist, you will play a strategic role in ensuring the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and passion for delivering excellence will contribute to our on-going success in providing best-in-class tools and equipment to our end-users.

The quality specialist role will collaborate closely with the cross-functional team to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement robust quality control processes across various quality management pillars - including quality systems, product testing, training, material review board (MRB), 8D/Corrective Action, etc.

You'll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality system procedures and policies that align with Milwaukee's Quality System including non-conforming material, material review board, work instructions, disposition instructions

  • Own documentation, such as Inspections and Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR's), edit and update status via computer or tablet in ERP and QMS Systems.

  • Quarantine parts per WI when non-conformances occur or otherwise appropriate

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, and Quality teams to address quality-related challenges and drive improvements

  • Develop and deliver training and guidance to employees on quality control processes, tools, and techniques

  • Develop, manage, and operate programs for Metrology and Test Lab equipment - including tensile/torque testers, hand-held gages, high-complexity systems, as well as CMM/VMM

  • Collect and analyze quality data and metrics, such as scrap cost, defect rates, inspection/sorting time, etc. to identify trends and areas of opportunity

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality control processes, inspection results, corrective actions, and other quality-related activities. Ensure proper documentation for regulatory compliance and audits.

  • Problem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions is required

  • Consciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment

What TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • High School or GED diploma required - technical degree a plus (associates or bachelor)

  • 3+ years of previous quality technician experience required

  • Thorough understanding and familiarity of quality systems and tools - ERP, MRB, CAPA, Metrology, Testing

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills - demonstrated ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to navigate technology such as computer, tablet and printer systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to read blueprints
