Summary:

In this role, you will work with the Total Rewards and People teams to provide collaborative leadership of the compensation programs, processes, and services to support the company's strategic goals. You will oversee planning, developing, implementing, and administering compensation programs, policies, and processes related to base pay, short and long-term incentives, and sales incentive plans. You will ensure that the company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and continuously evaluate the compensation programs of the company.
  • Set objectives and guidelines amongst the staff, delegate responsibilities, facilitate research and assessments, and develop strategies to optimize compensation operations.
  • Oversee the collection of wage, salary, and incentive survey data to ensure the organization's compensation programs/objectives are competitive.
  • Provide advice and counsel to People Business Partners and business leaders regarding salary and incentive plan issues including policy and guideline interpretation, new hire offers, internal equity, market adjustments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and administer incentive programs to drive performance and retention, including bonuses, commissions, and long-term incentive compensation.
  • Develop the annual merit increase budgets and salary structure movement based on market data, our competitive positions, and budgetary constraints.
  • Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Manage the development of annual incentive plan updates including the company's short-term incentives, sales incentives, and long-term incentive plans.
  • Support the development of materials and preparations for meetings with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. Work with an executive compensation consultant to develop recommendations related to the Committee's governance of the company's compensation programs.
  • Collaborate and work effectively with leaders and practitioners at all levels.
  • Drive strategy, work with data and analytics, and demonstrate capability in formulating and implementing effective and creative strategies.
  • Manage, coach, and develop team.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and approach client issues from a solution-oriented stance.
  • Assess and prioritize risks and issues and evaluate competing needs.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years experience with compensation programs or other relevant experience required.
  • Proven people leadership experience and capability in building and leading high-performing teams required.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.
  • CCP certification preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Experience working on executive compensation programs and work with the Compensation Committee and executive leadership.
  • Experience working on design and management of incentive plans including short and long-term plans and sales incentives.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions on due diligence and integration matters related to compensation programs.
  • Proven ability to lead in a changing environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship building with all levels of leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
