Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. General Dynamics experience is strongly preferred.

Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI access with a polygraph. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Role and Position Objectives:

As CPSO for General Dynamics Mission Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Security aspects on programs. Recognized as an authority in your area of specialization, the Senior Advanced Security Specialist will participate in the administration and coordination of one or more security programs/activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. This will include identifying program issues and implementing corrective actions, conducting security briefings, maintaining security education programs and planning for new security programs, including proposal preparation. Additionally, we will rely on you to provide leadership to a team, including their training and development as well as partner with various government agencies to ensure corporation is compliant with directives and regulations and obtains rulings, interpretations and deviations, as appropriate.

What you bring to the table:
  • Tactical understanding of security principles in specialized field
  • Exceptional knowledge of all security policies and procedures and ability to interpret security requirements and apply them consistently across diverse situations
  • Strong knowledge and experience in specialized area of expertise to include Department of Defense (DOD), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Programs (SAP) (PSD)
What sets you apart:
  • Prior experience as a CPSO
  • Knowledgeable of ICD's, JSIG, TEMPEST, 5200 series manuals, DoD PSQ and Program Security requirements
  • Experience with Classification Marking and Document Reviews
  • Strong presentation skills

Target salary range: USD $130,579.00/Yr. - USD $144,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
