Utility Electric Meter Installer - Union role

No experience required with paid training! If you consider yourself an independent worker and enjoy being outside, this job is for you!

We are conducting electric meter upgrades in the Ironwood, MI area for Xcel Energy, and are hiring Utility Electric Meter Installers. Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Successful candidates must also pass Meterpro test.

Expected end date for the project is August 31, 2025.

Company vehicle will be provided! Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Successful candidates will be required to join the Local 876 Union.

Pay for the position will be starting at $25.49/hour, going up to $32.00/hour after successfully completing training.
