The Vice President of Infrastructure Services (VP) will be a position in Marcum Technology reporting directly to the Chief operating Officer (COO). The VP will be focusing on all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Infrastructure Services team. This includes providing in-depth technical expertise for both technical and operational initiatives, working to continually increase customer satisfaction, organizational efficiency, profitability, and growth of the team. This individual shall provide leadership in planning and managing the national Infrastructure services teams across diverse geographies, encompassing both system and network engineering, storage engineering, presales engineering, project managers, infrastructure professional services and others. The VP will be responsible for defining the structure of the team as it continues to grow to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency. Some other primary responsibilities that will sit with the VP include the following: Client Relationships - Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide both strategic guidance as well as excellent execution of service delivery Resource Management - Direct infrastructure resources to ensure maximum client satisfaction as well as internal operational requirements such as timely and proper time entry, training, collaboration, etc... Proposal Creation - Review, oversee and approve all statements of work and proposals that are sent to clients and prospects Operational Effectiveness - Manage services delivery and KPI's from definition through execution, measurement, and reporting of results Vendor Certification Management - Ensuring we maintain and renew the requisite certifications among the team to maximize margin and profitability as well as grow the status and relationships with our key vendors Vendor Management - Explore, manage, and maintain strategic relationships with key IT product and service vendors that align with the best valued solutions for our clients Budgeting and Planning - Prepare, manage the annual budget, and ensure the group operates with maximum profitability and growth. The VP must have the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Must be able to effectively listen and respond to the Sales team and client objectives along with continual rapidly shifting needs.
