Position Summary:
The Assistant Case Manager supports the seamless management of interstate and intrastate cases while aiding clients in navigating pathways to success. This role involves administrative responsibilities, client resource development, and active collaboration with case managers and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in entering and maintaining case data in systems like ATHENA, JIMS, ODYSSEY and REJIS, including running criminal history checks.
  • Create and update case files, document case notes, and ensure compliance with necessary documentation for case transfers.
  • Facilitate orientations, explain program expectations to new clients, and assist with obtaining essential documents.
  • Support clients in achieving employment goals through mentoring, resource development, and collaboration with employers and community service sites.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and prosocial supports, actively connecting them to resources and opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on process improvements, test new technologies, and contribute to innovation in service delivery.

Job Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field; one (1) year criminal justice or related experience; successfully pass a criminal history check; and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Applicant must submit to and pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen prior to employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field; experience in ATHENA or ICOTS

Experience may be substituted for degree.
