Overview: The Healthcare Product Consulting Elements Product Consultant will be responsible for understanding and supporting the delivery and TriZetto implementation methodology around enrollment, reconciliation, encounters and risk adjustment programs in the government sponsored healthcare market. You should be able to translate those into the TriZetto Elements product suite capabilities and be able to advise and consult with prospects and clients on these features and functionality based on the HPC implementation practice process. The Elements Product Consultant should be able to articulate how Cognizant's TriZetto Elements suite of products can provide new value to health plan payers, by demonstrating deep expertise in Government healthcare (Medicare). The Elements Product Consultant works directly with customers to understand their needs, pain-point areas and drive the application delivery opportunity for product implementation. In addition, The Elements Product Consultant provides direct support to the implementation project team, with primary communication to the TriZetto Project Manager and Resource Manager in support of simultaneous Elements Team projects and product implementations. The Elements Product Consultant should also be able to analyze, validate, specify, verify, and lead the needs of the client project stakeholders during the implementation process. In addition, the Elements Product Consultant reviews/approves certain proposals/quotes and works closely with other business units to help manage product roadmaps, requirements, release schedules, training and support. The qualified candidate should reside in the United States. You will be required to travel up to 20% as required for business.

The Role: Individual Contributor Client Facing Role

Role and Responsibilities:

* Healthcare industry acumen and Client-facing skills to be able to converse with executives and senior staff of Clients on healthcare and government programs particularly within enrollment, reconciliation, encounters and risk adjustment areas.

* Strong capabilities and experience in the area of product consulting activities including identification the TZAF process, needs, gaps, requirements and technology solutions within Cognizant and across the industry.

* Interpret and translate regulatory and other guidance communicated by CMS and other agencies as well as industry feedback and trends into the product implementation process.

* Uses technical acumen and latest industry trends (such as Cloud, SaaS, Service oriented architecture) to set direction of product technical roadmap

* Lead the team in the timely delivery of services that meet the needs of the client such as interpretation and translation of federal mandates, third-party vendors, and client requested functional enhancements.

* Represent and demonstrate TriZetto's Elements products excellence, expertise and offerings in the government programs area through attendance and/or presentation at client kick-off meetings and knowledge transfer session during the implementation process.

* Specify client requirements for existing and future products and/or services by conducting market analysis supported by ongoing visits to customers and prospects

* Align and maintain a collaborative relationship with client experts, you will lead the charge in communicating the Elements product solutions both functionally and technically.

* Ability to identify requirements, produce solution diagrams, and drive product acceptance with the client.

* Work and collaborate with other Product Managers across the product portfolio to operationalize the strategy based on market trends and solution offerings.

  • Work hand in hand with the Director of Elements HPC and other areas of the organization to determine, articulate, expand and deliver a successful industry leading delivery of our Elements product solutions.

Required Experience:

Experience: Minimum of five years' related experience, in Medicare enrollment operations in a product consulting role for government sponsored healthcare programs.

Certification: Preferred certification in Medicare Fundamentals (TZU).

Business/Technical Competencies: Expertise within the healthcare domain and non-health care technology business models. Expertise in understanding key concepts and best practices related to product implementation and integration. Expertise in drawing insights from clients implementations and best practices, distilling complex information into solutions. Expertise in various risk adjustment models their history and their usage (CMS-HCC, HHS-HCC, CDPS, etc.) Secondary knowledge of Prescription Drug Events and reporting for Medicare Part D. Strong capabilities in documenting and defining product value proposition.

Behavioral Competencies: Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate and communicate well to various levels of an organization, both internally and externally. Works well and is creative as an individual contributor, but also understands how to balance needs across a team of peers and products. Takes the initiative to own, drive and define product strategy. Extremely well organized, ability to prioritize and ability to negotiate and compromise on less critical factors / requirements.

Education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

Desired Experience:

* Project management and leadership skills are preferred

* Experience working in a large, complex, and highly regulated organization

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 2/28/2025

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $99K-$117K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
