Requisition ID req32309 Working Title Faculty Services Rep Position Grade 11 Position Summary The UNM School of Law Administration and Human Resources team seeks a highly motivated, detailed, and organized Faculty Services Rep to join our team. This position reports to the Assistant Dean for Law School Administration and HR and serves a vital role in our HR administration and faculty on-boarding. The ideal candidate will possess a true commitment to excellent customer service and will excel at managing multiple competing deadlines and responsibilities, closely tracking the status of requests and HR transactions, and taking initiative to resolve process complications and delays. Main duties include: Oversees and coordinates administrative aspects of faculty contract processing, including full-time and temporary part-time faculty hires; generates new and revised faculty contracts, salary increase forms, and SACs/special compensation and summer research payment forms; processes requests for sabbatical and leave. Takes direction from, and provides administrative support to, the Law School Dean regarding faculty hiring, promotion and tenure actions, faculty committee work, and faculty annual reviews. Generates reports as requested and maintains departmental faculty personnel records and databases. Coordinates components of new Law School faculty orientation. Serves as a liaison to new faculty and provides information on insurance, retirement, and other UNM benefits. Provides guidance to faculty and administrative staff on faculty hiring and faculty payment processes. May provide back-up for payroll processing and Law School staff and student employee HR transactions. See the Position Description for additional information. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications
