Job Summary:
As a Project Manager II within our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and coordinating software implementation projects from initiation to successful delivery. You will work closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and project sponsors to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope (quality deliverables and customer experience), and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on project management experience in a dynamic environment, with an emphasis on communication, task coordination, budget ownership, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
  • Set scope, timeline, and deliverables to ensure a successful deployment for multiple customers
  • Ability to organize a portfolio of multiple projects for tracking and delivery
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on day-to-day project matters, ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, product, implementation, and customer success teams, to align project efforts.
  • Assist in resolving project issues and escalating any risks to senior management or clients when necessary
  • Participate in the sales process as needed
  • Support Statement of Work creation on an as-needed basis
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites to conduct training and solidify customer relationships
  • Assist in enhancing our methodology of project delivery of our growing set of solutions
Requirements and Preferred Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management or related experience in a SaaS environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with software implementation processes and lifecycle management.
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with Professional Services and CRM tools
  • Strong aptitude of technology tools and solutions
  • Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and ability to analyze details and translate into the "big picture" view
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs
  • Experience in software implementation, IT project management, or related roles.
  • PMP or CAPM certification, or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Rocketlane, Jira).
  • Experience with government budgeting concepts and practices and/or finance/budgeting solutions
On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate's geographical location.
