Job Summary

Administers and maintains the organization's computer systems to ensure functionality and reliability, in accordance with user needs. Responsible for the administration of the organization's IT platform related applications. Installs and configures computer systems and associated hardware in accordance with technical specifications. Efficiently investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves complex system problems. Works in close collaboration with other team members to improve customer experience and services provided by IT.

What You Will Be Doing

*Uses understanding of computer software and hardware products and services to resolve reoccurring issues through automation and other techniques.

*Provides support to end-users and logs all customer inquiries in incident tracking system.

*Provides escalation support for Tier I & Tier II.

*Assists in Active Directory administration including Group Policy management.

*Serves as a technical lead for projects and as an escalation point of contact for Tier I & II technical staff.

*Frequently coaches and provides guidance to other technical support analysts.

*Manages imaging solution and other software automation to include creation of new images and software distribution packages.

*Responsible for mobile device management.

*Responsible for the administration of the organization's IT platform applications, including monitoring, configuration management, and patch management tools.

*Conducts the administration for Atlassian suite including Jira, Confluence, and OpsGenie.

*Responsible for IT asset management platform.

*Maintains security compliance with patch management and administration.

*Assists with support for IP-based phone system.

*Creates and helps with technical documentation in internal Wiki and customer guides.

*Performs additional duties as assigned by Manager.

What You Will Need

*Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

*5 years' system administration experience or similar work.

*Advanced knowledge of IT structures and services including Windows desktop and Windows Server operating systems, and experience with PC peripherals.

*Knowledge of computer networking including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless.

*Knowledge of network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, ARP, MAC addresses, and experiencing with branch office network troubleshooting and administration.

*Advanced experience in Windows operating systems, Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, desktop and server virtualization, and Microsoft Office and Office 365 products.

*Must be available to provide after-hours support for Tier I, Tier II and maintenance activities when required.

*Must be able to participate in the on-call rotation schedule.

*May be required to travel to various work locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

*Experience with POS applications.

*Experience with Atlassian suite of products.

*Okta SSO administration.
