The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. ("Queen"), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally's jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally's portfolio. Bally's will also become the successor of Queen's significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
Oversee all Food & Beverage activities and team members on assigned shift as needed and directed by Food & Beverage Manager, while creating a memorable guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
- Assist with developing schedules and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
- Monitors appearance of food/beverage served and communicates deviations in accordance with established standard and conducts regular table-touches to ensure guest satisfaction
- Provide hands-on leadership for all food and beverage outlets, providing guidance and coaching to team members and make recommendations on discipline where necessary.
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.
- Assists in maintenance of cost control methods and procedures by monitoring pars and inventory. Order and stock food and beverage items and maintain inventory control.
- Ensure all areas of the restaurants (front of house) are maintained and comply with sanitation standards.
- Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
- Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs and ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Follows established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards.
- Responds to guest needs and reports problems to Manager.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Qualifications:

- Minimum two (2) years previous food and beverage customer service experience required, preferrable in hospitality, restaurants or gaming.
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook programs.
- Must have knowledge of kitchen/restaurant sanitation, operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Understand and adhere to all liquor control laws and regulations, sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food and alcohol, and any other federal, state, and/or local regulations.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
