Sr. Manager of Technical Engineering
The Sr. Manager of Technical Engineering is responsible for supporting new or existing aseptic manufacturing facilities from the time of handover from engineering to commercial production, for one to three, plus months. This role will be the main point of contact for the Plant Director(s) to support and start-up the facility, or to troubleshoot and existing problem. This position will take an active role to work with the Plant Director(s) to identify opportunities and be the project coordinator to bring the items to completion. This person may also assist in making recommendations with external OEM's, engineering, operations, quality, operational excellence, IT / systems, training, risk management, maintenance, sanitation, productions scheduling, raw material management, inventory control, and continuous improvement to optimize the aseptic business. In addition, they will be responsible for updating the Aseptic Playbook, disseminating essential information and findings, identifying best practices, being involved in investigative situations, and identifying innovative technology to support our facilities. Essential Functions
- Be the onsite point of contact for the PD to provide support, as the plant transitions from engineering to production. Work with various Plant and HQ teams to identify issues and areas of opportunity for improvement. This consists of PD / APD, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Process Engineers.
- Provide onsite indirect / servant functional leadership to the Plant Director and Plant Manufacturing Teams.
- Develop effective and efficient working relationships with both internal teams and external partners, including all OEM's.
- Set-up scorecards and review daily metrics, attend various meetings, identify, and prioritize areas of risk and opportunities, and provide solutions to the team.
- Prepare and manage action items to coordinate OEM's and support teams for success.
- Be an expert in aseptic operations, gaining a full understanding of all components of each department, in detail.
- Execute the operational playbook and build an ongoing evaluation system that will include all components of each operation, establish operating parameters, monitoring systems, and programs for optimization.
- Manage Team Members training materials to successfully meet the Company's objectives, creating a competitive advantage and ensuring Team Members learn from your expertise.
- Openly share findings and best practices to other aseptic and / or similar operations and cross-functional teams for improved performance.
- Help guide facilities in LCLM and LIFE models, as it pertains to aseptic operations.
- Identify opportunities in maintaining world class safety, quality, line performance and cost metrics.
- Establish reports from existing systems to analyze operational and quality data to look at trends and proactively find/solve problems and make recommendations for improved operations.
- Optimize business system workflows whenever possible.
- Support a sustainable supply chain model that meets customer demand, optimizes bottle output, and results in minimal yield loss in batching and fluid processing.
- Support teams to achieve goals for aseptic plant operations.
- Conduct regularly scheduled audits of each operation to assess effectiveness and efficiency and work with the teams to improve deficient areas.
Additional Functions
- Work closely with external manufacturing partners to ensure proper integration of new business to meet company and program goals.
- Identify innovative technology to further improve the overall aseptic business.

$141,342.07 - $204,946.01 / Yearly
Bonus Target: 15% Annual
