Purpose of Position The Billing Specialist is responsible for providing FlightSafety customers with correct, timely invoices for all training sold at a specific FlightSafety International Learning Center, or Centers. Tasks and Responsibilities The following duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure customers receive correct and timely billing. Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Communicate with Learning Center Customer Support Teammates, Account Representatives and Sales Teammates to resolve any billing and/or customer account issues. Reconcile disparities between scheduled, cancelled, hard and soft hour stipulations, and no-show hours for Learning Center management and employees. Monitor customer agreements (terms, times escalations, and credit criteria). Conduct research to ensure customer pricing is present and correct. Produce reports as needed (i.e. SAP, Determine Order Type Report, CRM, Center Monthly Accruals, and Service Desk submissions). Interact with appropriate Sales partners to determine accuracy of account information. Train and cross-train, as required, to maintain redundancy in the billing system. Minimum Education Associate's Degree or experience in lieu of degree Minimum Experience 2+ years of related experience Experience with SAP or similar system preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Intermediate or high level of Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile data and analyze variances High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to interact with various levels of management in a professional manner Travel when required Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met and/or encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
