Purpose of Position
Performs assignments designed to develop knowledge and abilities in all aspects of production of the computer hardware and software areas of the simulation products. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other applicable technical field Minimum Experience
Ten years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and expertise for this level usually results from internal progressive experience. However, selection for this position is based on the demonstrated ability of the person to successfully fulfill the requirements listed. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Fortran 90, C and C++; Unix, Windows, Workstation and Server Operating Systems; Scripting Languages; MS Dev Studio; MS Visual Source Safe and Team Foundation Services; MS Office, including Power Point and Access; Emacs and VI a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment
While the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of the Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
