About the team: Within the Consumer Marketing department, the Advertising & Creative team provides guidance and oversight on Nintendo of America campaign related GTM creative strategies and the planning, development and execution of paid advertising efforts focused on creating mass awareness and general excitement for the Nintendo brand and its products.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Drives the development and execution of annual, quarterly, and launch-related advertising campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Coordinates the advertising creative development process for digital video assets, including concept review, project budget management, production timelines and the internal approval process
  • Facilitates the advertising creative process for the highest priority advertising campaigns from concept development and creative review to execution and final approvals.
  • Leads complex and high priority launch campaigns, including the initial creative brief development, campaign management and creative deployment.
  • Coordinates the advertising creative development process for global (NCL) special projects as needed
  • Ensures campaigns are launched, delivered as planned, and quality conforms to NOA standards (i.e. legal/ESRB compliance, etc.)
  • Communicates and collaborates with global partners (NCL, Nintendo of Canada, Nintendo of Latin America, Nintendo of Europe) with regard to regional and/or worldwide product campaign overlap.
  • Responsible for budget tracking.
  • Prepares presentations summarizing campaign strategy, creative, key performance metrics, and actionable findings as needed.
  • May provide mentorship, leadership and/or development to small staff.
  • May include up to 10-20% travel; domestic and international (North & South America)

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of seven years of related advertising and/or marketing experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of managing advertising creative video production
  • Six or more years working in or with Latin America
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Tri-lingual in Brazilian Portuguese a strong plus.
  • Must possess strong written and oral skills in English and Spanish
  • Expert organization ability and leadership skills to coordinate large-scale global marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to develop and manage advertising agencies.
  • PC Skills
  • Agency experience or agency management experience required.
  • Experience in, or professional knowledge of, the video game and entertainment industries preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $114,000 - $205,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
