JOB SUMMARY:
The Probate & Guardianship Associate will be responsible for opening Estate, Guardianship and Cuban Blocked Accounts, along with being knowledgeable of court documents and bank account requirements. Associate should be well versed in the field of Probate and Guardianship and display excellent customer service skills as daily communications and interaction will be with Attorneys and paralegals. Consistently gains the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Process routine account transactions.
  • Process disbursements via cashier's check per court order.
  • Process account closings per court order.
  • Process outgoing wires per court order.
  • Scan new accounts and documentation into system.
  • Receives and sort mail for the department.
  • Coordinates courier drop-offs and pick-ups.
  • Processes internal transfers.
  • Report suspicious activity to the BSA/AML department.
  • Process all monthly scheduled disbursements and transfers on the first of the month per court order.
  • Create brand awareness at community, charitable and civic events as a bank ambassador.
  • Adhere to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry, while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years college degree minimum or the equivalent experience required.
  • Bilingual (fluent verbal and written) preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and exercise a high degree of initiative.
  • PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.
