JOB SUMMARY:
Machine Operator II is responsible for fabricating various types of products and components using proper tools and machines such as drills, presses, and CNC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Fabricates and/or assemble parts.
* Arrange parts for fabrication and staging processes.
* Report fabrication issues and assist in resolutions as required.
* Reject defective parts and materials according to policy.
* Review finished assemblies and parts to ensure accuracy against the sample.
* Ensure safe, careful use, treatment, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
* Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
High school or GED, vocational machine shop training or associates in related technical fields preferred and CNC programs

Experience:
1 to 3 years of production fabrication or equivalent experience in similar roles in a manufacturing environment

Computer Skills:
Basic PC experience and CNC programs

Basic Math--Ability to read a tape measure, and understand fractions and decimals,

Ability to comprehend and carry out the instruction given in English and Spanish

Team-oriented individual, flexible, and adaptable to a continuous improvement environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Must be able to lift/pull/push 50 lbs. up to 50 % of the shift.
* Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time up to 10 hours/day, to walk up to 10 hours/day and/or sit for up to 30-60 minutes/day, twisting or bending up to 10 hours/day, overhead work up to 10 hours as needed per production area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Manufacturing Environment - safety gear such as boots, glasses, arm protections, and earplugs will be required and provided.
* Exposure to disagreeable elements is limited.
* May be exposed to loud operating machinery and cold temperatures.
* Able to work night shifts and on weekends when required.
* Ability to move about in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Salary Range : $19.00 - $22.00
