Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education Department is looking for a motivated individual to supervise special education teacher candidates in their practicum placements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and mentorship, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to provide constructive feedback. Responsibilities: Contributes to the development, implementation, administration, coordination, and evaluation for one or more academic programs to ensure effectiveness in meeting departmental and student development goals and initiatives. Education: Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years teaching in a classroom setting with K-12 special education students and availability during the day when K-12 schools are in session. Current teaching license in K-12 special education required. Preferred 3 or more years and experience with teacher leadership and/or coaching as well as master's degree in special education or related field. Work Type: Full or Part Time: 50% - 100% Appointment Type, Duration: Terminal, 3 month appointment.
