Job Summary:

As Marketing Manager, you will work directly with the Senior Director of Marketing on the development and implementation of new programs designed to attract customers. This position's starting salary is $65,000.

Essential Functions:



  • Responsible for planning and implementing programs as they relate to special events and promotions
  • Responsible for maintenance & continued development of the Player Rewards system, benefits, and tiered card programs.
  • Responsible for setting up and implementing all programs, promotions, and events.
  • Responsible for coordination of all special events, special entertainment, and gaming tournaments.
  • Responsible for pre- and post-event planning meetings with appropriate departments to produce event plans for approval.
  • Prepares submissions for IGB approval to ensure the accuracy of all necessary documentation as it pertains to each event.
  • Designs and implements procedures to ensure the highest standards of courteous, prompt, and efficient customer service.
  • Coordinates all customer inquiries and complaints as they relate to the Players Club, Special Events, and Promotions.
  • Establishes and maintains budgetary guidelines and forecasts for Special Events and Promotions areas.
  • Creates, executes and supervises scheduling of all print, electronic media, outdoor and web advertising.
  • Overseas the content for social media.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, & training; planning & directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Interacts with all other departments.
  • Vision abilities required include close & distance vision, color & peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Knowledgeable of the Illinois Gaming regulations as well as the company's internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
  • Other duties may be assigned at any time.


Qualifications:



  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess leadership, management, and mentoring skills
  • At least five years in previous marketing position and/or casino experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar fields is preferred
  • Must be flexible with work schedule.
  • Excellent customer service skills.


Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
  • Able to be confined to a small area for a long period of time


Environmental Working Conditions:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
