Position Summary NYU's Global Programs & University Life organization is committed to being a welcoming campus community that reflects and

Develop, coordinate, and implement programs for international students and scholars and their dependents within the Office of Global Services to support intercultural understanding, growth and adjustment, fostering an inclusive community at NYU. As an active member of the International Student Hub (I-Hub), a collaboration between the Office of Global Services (OGS) and Center for Student Life (CSL), be involved in management of day-to-day administrative functions of international student and scholar support programs, program assessment, and major programming. Work with departmental leadership and other campus partners as possible in creating community for international students and scholars at New York University through international orientation programs administered by OGS and Welcome and transition programs managed by CSL. Coordinate student leadership experiences in partnership with CSL club life and leadership and service, counterpart and student engagement, social programs, student focus groups, English conversation programs, advocacy, professional development programs for University staff to support international students/scholars/dependents, cross-cultural adjustment programs, and large-scale University-wide cultural celebrations. Provide leadership for up to five student employees. Act as designated school official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) in issuing required US government documents for international students; assist as needed in issuing letters and required US government documents for international students to obtain student or exchange visitor status, extend stay, apply for employment authorization, travel abroad. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
