The McCarroll Lab is now recruiting a Specialist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full ranks. The areas of specialization include: Zebrafish, light sheet microscopy, advanced microscopy, genetics, transgenesis, cloning, CRISPR/Cas9, behavior, neuroscience, disease modeling, and pathology.

Required Qualifications:

• Assistant Specialist - Master's degree or a baccalaureate degree with three or more years of research experience
• Associate Specialist - Master's degree (or equivalent degree) or five to ten years of relevant experience
• Full Specialist - terminal degree (or equivalent degree) or ten or more years of relevant experience
• Extensive lab experience working with model organisms preferably zebrafish.
• Peer reviewed publications in high impact journal.
• Able to demonstrate independence in planning and executing research project.
• Experience with disease modeling, light sheet microscopy, and pathology.
• Candidates must meet the required qualifications at the time of appointment.
• Candidate's CV must state qualifications/or if pending upon submission.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post-graduate training in field
• Independent specialized research
