Position description

Xu Lab - Assistant/Associate/Full Professional Research Series

The Xu Lab at the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professional Researcher at UCSF. The researcher will analyze MRI data to evaluate connectivity in the pediatric brain.

Required Qualifications:



  • Appointees in the Professional Research series must possess a doctorate or its equivalent


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Track record of independent research
  • Completion of post-doctoral fellowship
  • Graduate training in biology or physical sciences or engineering
  • Computer programming/scripting
  • Familiarity with MRI
  • Understanding of basic statistical methods
  • Familiarity with pediatric brain imaging
  • Familiarity with structural and functional connectivity analysis


See Table 13B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $90,200-$240,000.
