ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is hiring to fill a Comprehensive Assessment and Symptom History Technician to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. Our core value of Commitment is key as your ability and desire to achieve excellence will assist the client achieve their goal.

MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma.
• Education requirement may be met by military or comparable training. If military trained, the individual's specialty must be as a technician in a medical field. Applicable training shall include a sound foundation / basis in psychology and/or cognitive science.
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Special Operations experience.
• Shall have a minimum of one year of full-time experience during the preceding 3 years in conducting face-to-face standardized interviews, preferably documenting personal histories and/or medical information.
• Advanced knowledge of collaborative tools (Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and basic office equipment required.
• Skill in team coordination, facilitation, and communication to facilitate the exchange of information/ education.
• Knowledge of computers and software applications to conduct data collection, tracking, rending, and analysis.
• Ability to design and present computer-generated outcome analysis information to provide timely, effective peer and higher-level project briefings.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Previous Business Intelligence experience highly desired.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate and conduct standardized assessments and structured, cognitive interviews, including but not limited to: Neurobehavioral Symptom Inventory (NSI-MBIAS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5).
• Solicit identification of exposures and exposure mechanisms experienced in military training and operational environments.
• Collect information from service members and their family to identify unknown potential impacts and symptoms of exposure (blast, impact, etc.) experienced over a standard military career.

This position is a temporary backfill role and will be hired as a 1099 independent contractor.
